🏗️ Senior Site Manager – Traditional Build Housing | Bedford

Our client, a leading name in UK residential development, is searching for a Senior Site Manager to take charge of a high-profile traditional build housing project in the Bedford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to join a reputable, award-winning housebuilder and lead the delivery of a flagship development with real autonomy and authority.

🔧 The Role

As Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery, safety, and quality of the site. You will guide site teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure the project meets Bellway’s exacting standards from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day management of a busy traditional build housing site

Drive progress to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across all phases

Manage and mentor site teams and subcontractors

Uphold strict health & safety standards and ensure full compliance

Oversee build quality, snagging, NHBC meetings, and customer handover

Coordinate materials, logistics, budgets, and site documentation

Report regularly to the Construction Manager on programme, risks, and performance

About You

Extensive experience running new-build traditional housing sites at a senior level

Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex programmes

Deep understanding of H&S legislation and building regulations

Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills

SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid qualifications (essential)
