Managing Surveyor

ACR are working with one of the South-East’s leading residential developer / contractors to appoint a top-class Managing Surveyor. The company deliver private and partnership housing to a variety of specifications across London, East Anglia and the Northern Home Counties; and are a frequent, multi award-winning business.

This role is to lead a team of Surveyors on one particular development – a multi-phase scheme of 1000+ units of new homes, commercial properties and associated infrastructure; located on the outskirts of Cambridge, and expected to run for close to 10 years. Phase 1 consists of 150 units of traditional and concrete frame construction, with further phases to start every 12-18 months.

As a Managing Surveyor on this project, you will initially lead a team of 3, with full responsibility for the entire commercial management of the scheme. Over time, the size of the team will increase as the project does too.

You will need a proven record of managing teams of Surveyors, ideally on residential projects of a similar scale. You will ideally have worked for a main contractor, and have a solid understanding of contracting practices on a residential project.
