ACR are recruiting for an Estimator on behalf of one of Hertfordshire’s leading independently owned residential contractors. This company’s project profile mostly consists of mid to high-spec residential new-build developments valued to £10m and consisting of up to twenty units each.

As a result of an uplift in work over the next year, this company are now looking to recruit their first full-time Estimator. The Estimating function has previously been done by external consultants, but the growth plans of the business require somebody in the office full-time.

The candidate will be responsible for the full process of producing accurate, attractive and competitive tenders; including site investigations, meetings with clients, architects and subcontractors, and presenting the final proposal.

Ideally candidate will have a proven track record of producing successful tenders for other small-medium sized residential contractors and have experience with tendering for public sector work. You must be presentable, tech-savvy and have the “can-do” attitude necessary to work within a small commercial team.
