Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple developments across the Essex and Hertfordshire areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and skilled individual to take charge of multiple projects and play a key role in maintaining the high standards and smooth running of their developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee four developments simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment on site.
Monitor project progress, addressing issues and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and financial management of each development.
Regularly report to senior management on project status and key milestones.
Work closely with the project teams to ensure clear communication and effective problem-solving.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the residential construction industry.
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once, with strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
A relevant qualification in construction management or a related field (e.g., HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent).
A strong track record of successfully delivering residential developments.
