Assistant Site Manager

π 6-Month Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our client’s Construction team on a large, award-winning residential development in Cambridge. This is a 6-month temporary role with strong potential to become permanent.
Reporting to the Construction Director, you will support the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with managing subcontractors and site teams
Ensure health & safety procedures are fully implemented and adhered to
Maintain high standards of site presentation and quality control
Support production targets and programme delivery
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC requirements
Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
About You:
Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding
Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety and building legislation
Valid CSCS, SSSTS and First Aid certificates
Strong organisational and communication skills
IT proficient (Microsoft Office)
