About the Role:
Our client are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a new build housing development in Stowmarket, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career with one of the UK’s leading residential developers, working on a high-quality project from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the construction site
Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to
Coordinate subcontractors and trades
Monitor quality standards and carry out inspections
Help manage project timelines and ensure work is completed on schedule
Maintain strong communication with the site team and wider project stakeholders
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role on a new build residential site
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certificate
Strong knowledge of construction processes, NHBC standards, and health & safety legislation
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred:
Experience with volume housebuilding
NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Construction Site Management (desirable)
