An ambitious and customer-focused housebuilder is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Customer Services Co-ordinator to join their Eastern Regional team based in Bedford on a 15 month fixed-term contract.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer journey and ensuring homeowners receive the highest level of aftercare support.
Working closely with internal teams, contractors, and customers, you’ll provide a professional, positive, and enthusiastic service while helping to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional customer journey through courtesy calls, site progress updates, and customer satisfaction follow-ups
Ensure defects are attended to within agreed timescales
Promote cost control and recovery through effective specification of works and adherence to contract charge procedures
Specify remedial works, allocate subcontractors, and supervise works through to completion
Prepare and submit progress reports to the Customer Care Manager
Support new ideas and procedures to improve aftercare service quality
Track SLAs and report performance to the Senior Co-ordinator and Customer Care Manager
Contribute to continuous improvement in customer satisfaction ratings
About You
We’re looking for someone who is customer-focused, organised, and confident in managing a variety of situations with professionalism and care.
You’ll ideally have:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Confidence and negotiation skills when dealing with customers and contractors
The ability to remain calm, patient, and professional when handling complaints
A strong understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
The ability to assess technical and commercial issues and make informed decisions
The ability to work independently and impartially
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Some technical knowledge of housebuilding, including plumbing, electrical, defects, and remedial works (preferred)
