We are seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a prestigious 200-unit residential development in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction process.
Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff.
Monitor health and safety compliance to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and senior management.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within residential construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
A valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification
