Material Buyer

ACR are working with one of the UK’s largest housebuilders to appoint a Materials Buyer to their South East region. The company complete approx. 4000 units per annum with revenues upwards of £1bn. Typical projects consist of between 50 and 300 units, with most being traditional brick and block schemes built on greenfield sites across Essex, Kent and Sussex.

This region has a newly appointed Commercial Director and a new Buying Manager, and they are looking to grow the existing Buying team due to a heavy workload going into 2020. The team consists of 3 Senior Buyers and a Trainee, and the plan is to appoint an Intermediate, or an experienced Assistant Buyer.

You will need at least a few years of construction material procurement experience, ideally in a housebuilding environment. You will be joining a proven team, who manage the scheduling and delivery of materials to up to 20 sites at once.
